The Midwest City Bombers are coming off a fantastic 2011 season that ended in bitter disappointment.

The Bombers ripped through the regular season, going undefeated, and cruised through the first round of playoffs. Unfortunately, their season came to an end in the second round of the playoffs, with MWC dropping a heart-breaking quadruple-overtime game to Owasso.

This season, the Bombers have a new coach in Darrell Hall. Unfortunately, Hall will be starting his time with the Bombers without his returning quarterback.

Returning starter Joel Davis was injured this summer playing in a baseball league and had to have Tommy John surgery. Davis will be out for the season, so the starting quarterback position falls on inexperienced shoulders.

Midwest City has been a contender for the past several season in 6A, and now, it's up to new coach Hall to continue the winning tradition.
