Yukon Man Wins New Ford Escape In 'Best Summer Ever' Giveaway

The summer of 2012 was truly a great season for Robert Cox of Yukon. He drove away in a new 2013 Ford Escape he won in News 9's Best Summer Ever giveaway.

Cox was joined by four other finalists hoping to win a new vehicle; Sherri Jackson of Newalla, Melissa Skinner of Edmond, Sara Wittrock of Minco, and Jesse Underwood of El Reno. They were all given keys to open locked boxes. When Cox opened his box, he found the key to the Ford Escape.

Robert's wife Kathy says he never expected to win because he's never before won anything. Kathy says she, however, was confident he would drive home in the new car.
