A powerful upper-level storm moving east from the Rocky Mountains will bring showers and thunderstorms to Oklahoma on Saturday. Severe weather will also be possible with some of those storms. The main risks with the storms tonight will be large hail and damaging winds.
On Saturday afternoon, the main storm system will eject into the Central Plains, bringing an increase in both the amount and severity of the storms.
Conditions will become increasingly favorable for a more substantial risk of severe weather, including a threat of a few tornadoes, by Saturday afternoon and evening.
