Stephen Clark, the No. 62 high school basketball player in the country according to ESPN, has signed to play at Oklahoma State next season.
Clark, a point guard at Douglass High School in Oklahoma City, averaged 25 points and 11 assists per game last season, and has led the Trojans to the past three Class 4A state championships. The 5'10, 160-pound senior has terrific shooting range on the court, but has also excelled in the classroom, earning a 4.0 GPA as a junior. Clark left Douglass briefly in August to enroll in Quest Preparatory Academy in Las Vegas, but concerns about the new school caused him to return to Douglass High School in late September.
Douglass is rated a four-star recruit by Scout.com, Rivals.com, and ESPN, and had offers from OU, Kentucky, UCLA, Connecticut and Baylor.
