We're learning the Oklahoma Corporation Commission is taking the first steps to disqualify cell phone companies from the controversial Lifeline program.
Our 6 Investigates team has already exposed how some companies are abusing the federal program that provides cell phones to those on government assistance.
The amount of fraud is especially high in Oklahoma, and taxpayers are paying for it.

The office says Easy Wireless, Assist Wireless and True Wireless may be unfairly profiting off those transactions.
Next Monday night our 6 Investigates will show you the latest developments with the Lifeline program.
