Altus Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

An undercover child porn investigation landed an Altus, Oklahoma, man in jail Tuesday afternoon, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Sherman Mullis, II is accused of sharing files containing images of child porn to an undercover OSBI agent.

Authorities served a search warrant on Sherman's Appliances, located at 201 S. Hudson, and found numerous illegal photographs on Mullis' computer.

Mullis was booked into the Jackson County jail on one count of distribution of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography, and one count of violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

The OSBI's Computer Crimes Unit will perform a full forensic examination on Mullis' computer.
