Oklahoma's Own Wes Welker Signs With Broncos

Five-time Pro-Bowl Wide Receiver Wes Welker signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the Denver Broncos. 

Welker played the past six seasons as a member of the New England Patriots where he made it as far as the Super Bowl twice before losing to the New York Giants on both occasions.  The former Texas Tech Red Raider has 768 career catches for 8,580 yards and 38 touchdowns.

The Oklahoma City native played football at Heritage Hall High School.  His charity, the Wes Welker Foundation, focuses on giving back to the youths of OKC through football camps, donations and other such efforts.
