Emergency crews are searching for the body of a man who drowned Sunday afternoon in the North Canadian River in northeast Oklahoma City.
Crews were called around 4:30 p.m. to the scene near N.E. 63rd Street and Midwest Boulevard.
According to police, four men came to the North Canadian River to go noodling for catfish when one of the men disappeared in the water.
Police say the area the men were fishing in was not accessible by vehicle due to recent flooding.
Fire crews and divers spent the evening looking for the man, but had to call off the search after dark. They will begin searching again Monday.
