OKC Police Make Arrest After Body Found Near Dumpster

Police have arrested a woman accused of killing her boyfriend and leaving his body near a dumpster at an Oklahoma City apartment complex.

A resident of Meadow Park Apartments at 1113 W. I-240 Service Road found the body wrapped in a sleeping just after 5 p.m. Friday. Police have identified the victim as 29-year-old Jeffrey Ray Lane.

Monday afternoon, police arrested 31-year-old Jennifer Timmons for first-degree murder and booked her into the Oklahoma County jail. Investigators say Timmons and Lane were involved in a relationship, but it's not known what led to Lane's death.

Police have not revealed how Lane died. The State Medical Examiner's Office is performing an autopsy.
