One Person In Custody For NE OKC Shooting

After a brief chase, Oklahoma City Police have taken one person into custody in connection with a Tuesday morning shooting on the northeast side of the city.

A man was found shot in a field around 6 a.m. Tuesday. The victim told police he met two people at a casino who convinced him to go to the field to look at some ATVs for sale. When they arrived, the victim was shot.

The victim is recovering from his injuries.

Police arrested a suspect in the shooting Tuesday afternoon following a short chase that ended near N.E. 33rd Street and Kelley. The suspect's name has not been released.
