Woman Accused Of Killing Boyfriend In Florida Arrested In Oklahoma

Police say a Florida woman hitchhiked to Oklahoma City then called police to confess to a murder no one knew about.

Kimberly Collins called police Saturday night from a gas station at Sheridan and Western in Oklahoma City. She told police she'd killed her boyfriend of eight years, and his body was in their Marion County home in Florida.

Deputies went to the house and found the nude, decomposing body of Manuel Amaral. According to the Ocala Star Banner, Collins said she stabbed Amaral three times in the back sometime in late June. The knife was still in his body.

Collins reportedly told police she was "tired of being abused."

Collins was booked into the Oklahoma County jail. Marion County has issued a warrant for her arrest, and she's expected to be extradited back to Florida.
