We are waiting to hear more from Warr Acres Police about why they shot and killed a man who had been fleeing them on a motorcycle, Friday night.
Warr Acres Police Chief Roger Patty says police tried to stop the suspect around 9:30 p.m. at 42nd St. and MaCarthur. Patty says the suspect fled on his bike and led police on a chase for 20 minutes, that ended at a dead end on Morgan Road and 119th St.
Patty says that's when police shot the suspect. The Chief hasn't released the suspect's name, whether he was armed, or why police shot him…yet.

Sherie Allen says she was driving her daughter to a youth rally when she saw the motorcycle and police rush by the other way.
"I made eye contact with this this boy. I don't know, I just don't know, I just connected with him. I felt sorry for him," she said. "He took off running. They were done chasing. They had had enough. And I've seen cops that way, and it's sad," she said.
However, Allen admits she didn't see the end of the chase, and what the suspect did in the moments before police shot him.
Patty, says the situation will be thoroughly reviewed.
