Child Injured In ATV Accident Near Yukon

A child was injured in an ATV accident in Yukon Friday night.

Police, firefighters and EMSA were called to the scene of the accident, on W. Wilshire Blvd. just west of Cemetery Rd.

Emergency personnel on scene say the child was transported from the scene via ambulance, to a local emergency room.  The child's identity and condition was not immediately known.

It is unclear at this time how the accident occurred or if anyone was riding along with the child.
