Suspect Arrested In Norman Stabbing

Police have arrested a man following a stabbing in Norman early Thursday morning.

A male victim was stabbed just after 4 a.m. on N.E. 12th Street near Robinson. He was rushed to OU Medical Center, but his condition is unknown. Police tell News 9 at last check, the man was in surgery.

Police have not said what led to the stabbing, but they have identified a suspect. Officers arrested 30-year-old Matthew Wayne Koon. He was booked into the Cleveland County jail for assault with a dangerous weapon.
