The witness observed Caudill weaving in and out lanes before hitting a car. Caudill made it to her northwest side home before police arrived, according to Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.

Police say Caudill refused to answer the door, and officers were unable to administer a breathalyzer.

Caudill originally faced a municipal violation of leaving the scene of an accident. The charge was later reduced to speeding.
