Two Oklahoma City children may not have presents under the tree this year. Police are on the hunt for the person or people responsible for stealing their Christmas gifts.

It was a home burglary, according to police. The victim, a single mother of two, says she lost about $6,000 total.

"The last check I got … I went and bought all their Christmas stuff," single mom and victim Mallory Turner said.

All of Turner's Christmas shopping was complete more than a month early and right before she lost her job. Hid away in her closet were new shoes, clothes and toys for her kids. On Monday around 5 p.m., Turner walked through her front door to a ransacked home.

"We [got] home and there's … boxes everywhere and everything is gone," said Turner. "They left the VCR and the old TV, but they took all of the flat screens out of the house."

Even Turner's kids' bike was gone. Her kids feel violated just like mom. Turner says crook or crooks got in from a garage side during daylight hours. Neighbors didn't see a thing.

Turner says she does not receive child support and money intended to pay bills was also taken. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300. To offer assistance to the Turner family, call (405) 305-1014.
