A family taking advantage of Black Friday deals is carjacked at gunpoint right in front of Penn Square mall.

The thieves stole their car, their car seat, their phones and wallet, even the Christmas presents they had just bought, including diamond earrings and a Build a Bear reindeer for their son.

Now, police are releasing surveillance video of one of the men believed to be involved.

The family says the thieves got away with everything, their car, car keys, car seat, wallet, as well as their gifts, all while walking out of the JC Penney's with their 3-year-old son.

Surveillance cameras inside the mall got a clear shot of the young man in the black and yellow hoodie as he made his way through the store.

"Yep, that's the guy that was involved in it he was the one that had the gun," said Brett Clark, who says the gun was pointed right at him.

Clark says he, his wife and their 3-year-old had just left Penn Square mall around 2 a.m. Friday since Penn Square was open all night for Black Friday deals.

It was once they reached their car that he noticed this man and an accomplice approach them.

"Next thing I know, he goes we don't want any trouble, we don't want any scene but we want everything you got and he pulled out the gun," Clark recalled.

Clark says his wife grabbed their son out of the car just as the thieves were getting in.

"And as soon as they got in the car, my wife screamed out hey! Somebody! Call the cops! We've been robbed," Clark said.

Clark says he feels violated, and feels his pride and sense of security were also stripped away that day. Now he's offering this advice to others.

"If you have a gut feeling that something is wrong find a way to leave," Clark said.

He suggests when shopping, establish a code word between you and your family so that you can run and act quickly. He says that's what he plans to do from now on.

"I just want to make sure this doesn't happen to anybody else," he said.

Oklahoma City Police say if you know the person caught on tape, they are urging you to call Crime stoppers at (405)-235-7300.

There is a reward.
