Fewer than 70 residents in the Oklahoma City metro are without power Friday morning, but hundreds are shivering in the dark and cold in eastern and southern Oklahoma.
According to OG&E, 61 homes in western Oklahoma City were without power. Electricity has been restored in Enid.
In the southern Oklahoma town of Alma, OG&E reports more than 300 customers without power; and on the east side of the state in Cameron, Heavener, Hodgen and Poteau, more than 400 customers don't have power.
OG&E says crews are working around the clock to restore electricity to those residents.
