Freezing Fog Advisory Issued For All Of Eastern Oklahoma

The National Weather Service issued a freezing fog advisory for eastern Oklahoma Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a freezing fog advisory for eastern Oklahoma Thursday morning.

According to News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone, freezing fog is fog that freezes on contact with bridges and can produce patches of ice.

The National Weather Service says the advisory is in effect until 11 a.m.

Counties included in the advisory are Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Muskogee, Nowata, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Pittsburg, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington counties.
