Oklahoma City Police have released surveillance video of two home invasion suspects accused of attacking a woman inside her home.
The victim in this home invasion is in critical condition. Police said Wednesday the robbers stole her stuff then used her credit cards at Quail Springs Mall.
The home invasion happened in the 3100 block of NW 35th Place on Sunday. Police said the men knocked on the victim's door at 10 a.m. and asked if her husband was home. When she said "no," they barged through the door and knocked her down, breaking her hip and arm.
OCPD Captain Dexter Nelson said one of the suspects asked the victim if she needed the glasses around her neck.
"She says ‘Yes, I use them to read,' and he says ‘Oh really?' Then he takes her glasses and rips them off and stomps on them," Nelson explained.
Police said the robbers stole the woman's keys, wallet, purse, checks, and big screen television, all the while kicking and hitting her as she laid on the floor in pain.
"She laid on the floor for approximately nine to 11 hours until she was able to crawl to an area where she could get to a phone and call police."
The woman's neighbors were too scared to talk on camera.
"We were all shocked, you know. It could happen to any of us, I guess," said one neighbor.
"You just, you just never know when it can happen and most of ours have happened during the daytime," said another neighbor.
The victim's family said she's in bad shape because she already had heart problems. Her brother told News 9 she was the victim of a robbery several years ago in the same house.
If you recognize the suspects, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300.
