City officials will break ground Tuesday on an 88,625 square-foot building that will serve as the new Oklahoma City Police headquarters.
Located on Main Street between Lee and Shartel, the three-story building is expected to open in 2015.
It will house the administration and investigations function of the police department, according to officials.
Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett, Oklahoma City Police Chief Bill Citty, and Ward 6 Councilwoman Meg Salyer will speak at the ground-breaking ceremony.
