Canadian County Sheriff's Deputy Dealing With Insurance Dispute

An awful motorcycle crash nearly killed the Administrator of the Canadian County Jail last July. Now his family says his medical insurance company is causing more problems.   

Bob Stuart broke several ribs, shattered his sternum and suffered traumatic brain injuries when he wrecked his motorcycle in Oklahoma County last July 22. 

Stuart and his wife Dani say GlobalHealth, Inc. has been hounding them for thousands of dollars that they don't owe.  They say Bob's policy clearly states everything required for Bob's rehabilitation—with the exception of co-pays—is covered.  

"I pay them, and for some reason they think I work for them," Stuart said Thursday night. "I want them to honor their agreement with me." 

His wife Dani was brought to tears when I talked with her.

"Everyone agrees the bills I have been getting are absurd," she said. 

GlobalHealth, Inc. sent News 9 an email Tuesday that basically says "they don't comment on individual cases."
