Sapulpa Coach Convicted Of Videotaping Girls Dies

Howard Harjo, who was serving a life sentence for videotaping girls in the Sapulpa High School locker room, has died.

A man serving life sentence for videotaping girls in the Sapulpa High School locker room has died.

According to the funeral home, Howard Harjo died on Thursday.

The 53-year-old admitted in 2012 to videotaping the softball players he coached.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of child sexual exploitation and was sent to prison in January.

Harjo's obituary says funeral services are scheduled for this week.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections did not give an immediate comment on his death.
