The family of a missing 16-year-old girl continued their search for her Friday. The Oklahoma City Police Department's Missing Persons Unit asked that anyone with information come forward to help located the teenager.
Anne Josette Hill has not been seen for a week, but her car was found abandoned in Edmond, raising concerns for police.
The missing girl goes by Annie Jo or Anne Josette. The high school sophomore's family said contact abruptly stopped with the teenager last week. Lori Hill, Anne's mother, told News 9 that she would normally be in touch with her family multiple times a day. Hill said that the silence has been way out of character for her daughter.
Hill is identified as a white female, brown hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet and 4 inches and weighing 120 pounds. She also has a curvy-lined tattoo on her right hip.
Oklahoma City police ask anyone with information about Anne Josette Hill's whereabouts or well-being to call them immediately at 405-297-1129 or by calling 911.
