Ingredients:
1 cup Braum's butter
1 cup water
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Frosting:
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup shredded coconut
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 10x15x1 (basically, a cookie sheet) with nonstick cooking spray.
Place butter and water in a large bowl and cook on high for 4 minutes in the microwave. Bring to a boil. No need for a mixer, simply stir in flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream, almond extract, salt and baking soda. Pour the cake batter into your cookie sheet. Tap the pan on the counter to release any air bubbles. Bake for 20 minutes or until cake is golden brown.
