Police believe a lovers' quarrel led to a fatal stabbing outside a Sapulpa motel Monday evening.

Sapulpa Police said a man and his girlfriend were at the Interstate Inn Express in the 5500 block of South 48th West Avenue.  They said the man's ex-girlfriend, identified as 24-year Dicy Poore, confronted the couple outside the motel.

Police said the current girlfriend and Poore got into an argument which ended when Poore stabbed the victim.

Sapulpa police said paramedics took the woman to a Tulsa hospital where she died.

Sapulpa police started working with Tulsa police to find Poore. They said Poore is a white female, 5'2", 158 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

They believe she is in the Tulsa area.
