Firefighters pulled two adults and three children from a burning home in west Tulsa.
The call came in at about 11:45 Monday morning in the 4700 block of 33rd West Avenue.
Video from Osage SkyNews 6 HD showed firefighters carrying the victims out of the burning house and laying them in the front yard, where firefighters began working urgently to resuscitate them. Tulsa Fire Department Captain Jose Ariza said as many as 45 firefighters and other department employees worked the scene.
Captain Ariza said the department struggled to deal with the number of rescues required. Some department employees apparently responded to the home so quickly they weren't wearing emergency gear.
EMSA said it took a man, woman and three children to the hospital in critical condition.
The fire department has not released any information on a cause of the fire.
It was the third house fire TFD had been called to Monday.
