The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's office says the deaths of Ruthanne Rex, 31, and Jake Wright, 19, have been ruled as homicides.

Investigators said a cleaning woman found the bodies in the Carolyn Inn on Highway 66, just off the Turner Turnpike in Bristow on March 29, 2015.

The ME's office says Rex died from a gun shot wound to the neck. Wright died from a wound to the head, but the preliminary report gives no indication he was shot.
