Oklahoma City police are searching for those involved in two separate shootings Wednesday night.

Just before midnight, officers responded to the report of a shooting on Meyers Place near Martin Luther King. Police said Meyers Place near MLK will be blocked off for several hours as they put together what led up to the second shooting.

One man was shot. EMSA transported him to OU Medical Center. His condition is unclear at this time.

Police said there is more than one suspect involved in all this, but at last check, no one is in custody.

This is very similar to another shooting that happened around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. This time it was on the city's northwest side in the 100 block of Allen Street, near Reno and Villa.

Police got there after someone called 911 saying there was a fight outside. One man was shot during the fight and taken to the hospital. As of now, there are several people being questioned in that situation.

Police do not believe these shootings are connected.
