Jenks Police say they have identified people who vandalized a number of vehicles in more than one neighborhood. They thanked the public for their help on their Facebook page.

Authorities tell News On 6 they expect charges to be filed in the crimes.

Officer Mike Gauldin said the crimes took place in the early morning hours of Thursday, August 6, 2015.

Victims live in the area of 117th Street South between Elm and Elwood and west of that area, according to Gauldin.

"We started getting calls around 1:30 in the morning," he said. "One of the victims was alerted by his video system."

Jenks Police released the video from that surveillance camera that shows a man slashing tires with what looks a large hunting knife. The man appears to be barefoot, and you can see a second man approach a vehicle parked in the street.

There were also some broken car windows and at least one case of body damage to a vehicle in the neighborhoods of Churchill Park,  Eddington Place and Stone Horse, according to police.

"It's not the typical type of crimes we have overnight here," Gauldin said.
