A Tulsa school bus was involved in a hit-and-run wreck near Mohawk Boulevard and Lewis. Police tell us the other driver of the other vehicle kept going but was pulled over near 51st and Peoria.

A Good Samaritan saw the wreck and followed the other driver, calling police. Authorities believe the driver of the car that hit the bus was under the influence of some substance.

Jeronny Adams, 29, of Sapulpa was tested for DUI, and his passenger was arrested on outstanding warrants.

Adams was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of hit-and-run, DUI injury accident and operating a defective vehicle. Jail records show he's being held on a bond of $14,400 with a court appearance set for September 1.

The children on board the bus were from Tulsa's Edison Preparatory School.

Three kids were transported to the hospital, but police don't think they were seriously hurt. Their parents wanted them to be checked out because they hit their heads on the seats in front of them.

Tulsa Police, Fire and EMSA crews responded to the scene.
