High pressure over the southern plains is still keeping us hot and dry. Temperatures have been a little above normal. That may not change for a while.
Skies stay clear Thursday night and temperatures drop to around 70 degrees.
A front approaches the state on Labor Day. This is going to put a slight chance of storms to our northwest. Most of us will stay dry. We have much better chances midweek of next week. The weather pattern will finally become more active with several chances of storms.
