Noble Public Schools Canceled Wednesday Due To 'Credible Threat'

All schools in the Noble Public School district will be closed on Wednesday after a “credible threat” was found at the high school.

All schools in the Noble Public School district will be closed on Wednesday after a “credible threat” was found at the high school.

Few details are known at this time.

There are five public schools in the Noble District: Noble High School, Curtis Inge Middle School, Pioneer Intermediate Elementary School, Katherine I. Daily Elementary School and John K. Hubbard Elementary School.

Noble Schools superintendent Frank Solomon issued the following statement on the incident:

"Noble Public Schools has received a threat at Noble High School for tomorrow, October 14, 2015. Accordingly, all Noble Public schools classes are cancelled for tomorrow, October 14, 2015. All evening activities scheduled for Tuesday evening, October 13 and Wednesday evening October 14 are also cancelled. Fall Break is October 15th and 16th. Classes will resume Monday October 19th.

During this break, district administration will be working with local and state law enforcement officials to investigate this incident and insure the safety and security of all of our students, staff and facilities."
