Metro cab drivers are on alert after one of their own was held at gunpoint.
The latest incident happened near Northwest 31st and Dewey around 3:00 a.m. Thursday.
Two men took off with the Yellow Cab taxi driver’s money, cell phone, and a radio, then jumped into another car and took off.

It's news these cab drivers are starting to hear almost on a regular basis.
“The chances that you take, it just comes with the job,” said cab driver, Edward Smith.
“You don’t know who’s coming in your car, whose coming in your taxi. You don’t know,” said Raymond Kocak.
Cabbies from across the metro line up at Will Rogers World Airport, but there, it's almost like a safe haven for those who have stopped working city streets.
“Because everybody gets screened, usually you get the cream of the crop, real good people. But the streets is brutal,” said Greg Dotson.
After only a year of working some of the city's roughest areas, Dotson said he had to make a change quick.
“I got a lot of crazy people. I got robbed once,” said Dotson.
“You’ve got to be careful about your surroundings,” said a fellow driver. “Just be aware of where you are.”
Especially since drivers can't legally have weapons in their cars. Dotson said some taxis have a panic button on the driver's door.
When pressed, police are immediately called.
“You better have strong faith and step out on it. I’ve probably prayed more since I’ve been driving a cab than since I did when I was going to church,” said Dotson.
Fortunately, the cab driver involved in the armed robbery was not injured. Police don't have a good description of the suspects.
