The 2015 high school football playoffs are underway, and this Friday and Saturday fans will get another chance to watch the top teams in the state face off for a shot at a state championship.
Semifinals begin this week and here are the remaining teams in each bracket:
6A-I
Broken Arrow vs. Edmond Santa Fe- Nov. 20, 7:00 p.m. at Yukon High School
Running back Darran Williams and the seventh-ranked Santa Fe Wolves look to take the momentum from upsetting No. 4 Southmore into Friday night's game against Broken Arrow.
Union vs. Jenks- Nov. 20, 7:00 p.m. at Owasso High School
Union will try to avenge the 45-27 loss it suffered to Jenks earlier this season. The Redskins will have to focus on shutting down OSU commit Dillon Stoner, who has been the difference-maker in the team’s last two showdowns.
6A-II
Booker T. Washington vs. Sand Springs- Nov. 20, 7:00 p.m. at Sapulpa High School
The Hornets survived its cold, rainy test against Sand Springs on homecoming night, winning 17-14 earlier this season. The game ended with a last minute field goal by Booker T. Hopefully the weather won’t play a factor this time around.
Bixby vs. Bartlesville- Nov. 21, 1:00 p.m. at Owasso High School
Bixby lost in the first matchup against Bartlesville 33-50. Expect senior tailback Nick Roller to have something to say about that this time around.
