A mandatory boil order is still in effect for Barnsdall and any districts it supplies with water.

Barnsdall Mayor Brock Moore said the Oklahoma National Guard has brought in a 2,000-gallon water tanker that is located behind the Ethel Briggs Library at 412 South 5th Street.

"Please bring your own containers to fill with water," Moore said Sunday morning.

Residents need to bring tap water to a full, rolling boil for at lease one minute to use in food preparation, dishwashing and brushing teeth.

The order was issued due to high turbidity levels, or haziness, the DEQ states. Residents will be notified when the water is considered safe for human consumption.
