None of those who reported hearing the chant said they had heard it more recently than 2012, save for the incident at OU. The release claimed the fraternity polled every chapter member.
SAE claims to have more than 13,500 members, and the group says they have initiated more than 328,000 men since being founded in 1856.
Also in their statement the fraternity outlined other initiatives to address diversity and cultural awareness within the organization.
