The tornadoes were fairly small and short-lived. There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with the storm.

Only after viewers reported seeing the tornadoes did the National Weather Service (NWS) upgrade the storm to severe. No tornado watches or warnings have been issued.

An apparent lightning strike also ignited a tank battery just west of Chickasha.
