Defendants Found Guilty In 'Cathouse' Murder Trial

9:30 p.m. Denny Phillips and Russell Hogshooter have been found guilty of the 2009 killings of four people, including Brooke Phillips, who was featured on the HBO series "Cathouse."

About 9 p.m. Monday, the jury found Phillips and Hogshooter guilty of all counts. 

Court will resume at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

6:15 p.m. Closing arguments started Monday morning for the two suspects in the "Cathouse" murders.

Denny Phillips and Russell Hogshooter pleaded not guilty to the 2009 killings of four people, including Brooke Phillips, who was featured on the HBO series "Cathouse."

The judge read instructions to the jury around 9 a.m. Then for about the next hour prosecution began describing how victims were tortured, pointing out consistencies with the weapons used in the murders as well as cell phone towers placing the whereabouts of the accused murderers.

Then for several hours the defense attorneys for Phillips and Hogshooter tried to point out inconsistencies in the prosecutions argument, attacking the characters of some of the witnesses. That lasted until about 4 p.m.

After a quick break the jury heard one last time from the prosecution. Also in the courtroom observing was owner of the Bunny Ranch, a legal brothel in Nevada where Phillips once worked.

Now the case is in the hands of the jury, we'll keep you updated on the progress.
