Two families are mourning following a double homicide at Tulsa’s Chamberlain Park.
Two people are shot to death and Tulsa police say a 5-year-old boy may be the only witness to their murders.
Investigators believe the shooting happened around midnight, but police didn't find out about it until 6:00 Tuesday morning.
They say a person was jogging through Chamberlain Park in the 4900 block of North Frankfort at around that time and saw the 5 year old at the playground. The child told the jogger his mom was hurt and took the jogger to the SUV.
Meshawna Jones, 32, and her friend Markey Goff, 26, were found shot to death inside an SUV at Chamberlain Park. They also found a 1-year-old boy, alive and unhurt, in the SUV.

"It's horrible. No kid should ever have been in the way of seeing their parents shot and killed," resident Nicholas McCary said.
Police said the child is talking, but investigators aren't sure if it'll be helpful.
Sergeant Dave Walker said, "It depends on the mental capacity of the child. From what I'm hearing, the child is giving information, and, like I said, it is a 5-year-old’s imagination that's kinda going. And if the child was awake and saw something like that, it's pretty traumatic."
Police are not sure what the child did for five hours before the jogger happened by. Investigators hope the police child crisis investigator's interview will help with that.
Neighbors we spoke to say there's not much violence in this neighborhood, but people often hang out at the park after dark.
"We should have more security out here patrolling the area because you have kids out here. People out here walking exercising like me,” McCary said.
He is begging any witnesses to come forward, so are police.
Although there's not much to release, police say they have a lot to work with.
"And I would think, if I were the person who did this, I would be very concerned. This isn't a perfect crime. Here we go, the game is on," Walker said.
The children were not hurt, and are in DHS custody, for now.
Police still haven't released any suspect information.
Oklahoma Department of Corrections records shows Markey Goff had just been released from prison after serving time for a Tulsa County conviction for robbery with a firearm.
Police ask anyone who has information about this homicide to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
