Village Fire Department, OKCFD Crews Battling House Fire

Crews with both the Village Fire Department and the Oklahoma City Fire Department battled a large house fire Sunday morning.

Initially, the Village Fire Department was called the home in the 1600 block of Brighton Ave., around 8:00 a.m.

Upon arrival, crews said heavy smoke was coming from the eaves of the home. Shortly after, crews from the Oklahoma City Fire Department arrived to assist.

OKCFD said the fire was not under control and it forced crews to exit the home. OKCFD had to send for more resources.

At this time, there are no reported injuries.
