Manhunt Suspect Recently Charged In Child Sex Abuse Case

Court documents reveal details about a child sex abuse charge against Michael D. Vance, Jr. Vance is wanted in the Sunday shooting of two Wellston police officers, sparking a manhunt that has gone into its 14th hour. 

Vance was charged in Lincoln County for sexually abusing a 15 year old female. The victim told police she was asleep when Vance began rubbing her back. The victim says Vance then put his hand down her pants and touched her vagina. The victim says Vance then forced her hand down his pant and began kissing her. The victim told police the abuse lasted for nearly an hour.

The victim reported the attack to a family member who called police. 

Vance was charged with rape by instrumentation, forcible oral sodomy and lewd acts with a minor back in June.
