Tulsa police say a man suspected of shooting someone then driving off in their car is now in custody.

Police say it happened just before 2:00 Friday near 40th and North Harvard.

They say a man was driving his 2006 white Ford Taurus when he was shot in the face.

Police say the suspect, identified as Carlos Jackson, then took the victim’s car and drove away.

The victim, then, walked to the Tulsa Operations Division to seek help.

Police said the man shot was taken to the hospital and that he is stable. They say the bullet went through the mouth and out the ear.
