USS Tulsa Crew Visits T-Town

The crew that will soon man the USS Tulsa is in town.

They're learning more about the city that shares a name with their ship.

We caught up with them while they were at the Woody Guthrie Center.

"Knowing what makes Tulsa tick, knowing some of the history makes it that much more of an incredible experience for us to eventually take over the USS Tulsa,” said US Navy Captain Drew Borovies.

They also visited Cain's Ballroom, the Greenwood Cultural Center and the Council Oaks.

The crew is staying through Saturday and will watch the TU-Navy football game.
