Crews Battle Wildfire Near McLoud

Despite the recent rain, it doesn't take much for a fire to get out of control, especially with the wind and dormant vegetation.

Sunday afternoon, crews worked to contain a brush fire in the McLoud area near Wes Watkins Lake.

The flames burned through about ten acres before they were able to get it under control.
