Road debris is leading to more car accidents on Oklahoma roadways.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office, debris was a contributing factor in nearly 600 crashes from 2014 to 2016.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says unsecured items are the primary.
Nearly $5 million is spent each year cleaning up highway debris.
