A number of school districts across Oklahoma are shut down today as parents, teachers and students head to the state Capitol in Oklahoma City today to rally for education funding.
Teachers plan to start picketing at the capitol at 9 a.m.
Up to 30,000 are expected to flood the capitol grounds today.

Teachers say the $6,100 raise signed into law by Governor Mary Fallin last week is a start, but they also want to make sure students are not forgotten.
" I'm nervous because I feel like legislators aren't going to take us seriously and it's a very serious issue that needs to be taken care of," said Tulsa 1st grade teacher Kirsten Mccullough
All of the major school districts in eastern Oklahoma have canceled classes for today.
Schools will be shut down in Tulsa, Union, Jenks, Broken Arrow, Bixby, Bartlesville, Owasso, and Muskogee.
