Several people were injured, including two special needs students, following a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in southwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called out to the scene of the wreck in the 1500 block of SW 44th Street, between S. Pennsylvania Avenue and S. Blackwelder Avenue.
Authorities tell News 9 the two students two adults on the bus were transported from the scene to a local hospital in stable condition. Two people in the SUV were also injured, one was transported in stable condition and the other in serious condition.
An official cause for the crash has not been determined. Photos from the scene show the SUV rear-ended the bus, which belonged to Oklahoma City Public Schools, with exceptional force.
None of the victims have been identified at this time. The ages of the student and what school they belonged also has not been released.
