A Broken Arrow woman is safe tonight after police searched for her for hours, believing she had been kidnapped and was in danger.
Now, police want to find and talk to the man she was with.
Police say they were told by witnesses that 36-year-old Justin Korf and his girlfriend, 29-year-old Morgan Rower, had gotten into an argument and then he took her by force from a Broken Arrow home.
Korf and Rower called News On 6 and the Broken Arrow Police Department before noon Tuesday. They said they were together willingly, and they don't know what the fuss is about.
Officers spotted the vehicle they were last seen driving on Tuesday afternoon in a Broken Arrow neighborhood near 7th and Fort Worth.
Investigators found Rower there and questioned her. Police say Rower appeared to be safe and told them she didn't know where Korf was.
"They are trying to get to the bottom of the story and trying to figure out how it started and the circumstances behind everything," said Officer James Koch.
Police said they would continue the investigation until they could make contact with both Korf.
They say what matters now is that Rower is safe and they want Korf to give them his side of the story. Police say they don’t believe he presents any danger to the public.
Korf does have a criminal past, including a conviction for assault and battery.
As for possible charges in this case, police are still investigating.
The Department of Corrections website said he uses the aliases Justin W. Kore and Justin W. Orf.
