ME Releases Report On OKC Homicide Victim Found In Backyard

The medical examiner has released the autopsy of a woman whose body was discovered in an Oklahoma City backyard.

Jacalyn Elizabeth Russell, 31, was identified as the person found on June 6 in the backyard of a home in the 2200 block of Northwest 34th Street.

According to the ME's report, Russell died of strangulation. She had ligatures binding her wrists behind her back and had another ligature around her neck.

Police arrested Jimmy Vongphakdy, 36, on a complaint of first-degree after receiving a tip about a body at the residence.
